lyrics
Have all the rapture!
Salivating as you humanize weapons,
Calling out the dogs of a nuclear priesthood.
In your fumbling dance, your breath is steaming.
Fangs upward, over the lip.
Competition of manhood; abstraction,
Some ordinary distraction.
Black ants in bed & stainless steel teeth,
They line you up like the best cinema seats.
Under a sky, in a book,
Like earthquakes crawling.
I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250
Nirvana, for whatever reason, was my gateway to metal and heavy music in general. So this brings me full circle. The covers are really faithful but only as Thou can deliver it. rettisawesome
