lyrics
Swoon like a net swaying in the air,
Slip-sliding down a hole.
Knots in our hair, brush me harder.
Things I think I forget: top bunk spying down,
You're a pomegranate, you're sweet,
You race over fresh water.
Can I blot you out like ink on paper?
Will I always follow you around?
I catch the fly in my palm,
Cold starts to burn, dropping it down.
Can't learn, can't learn, I can't learn;
Clothes line suicide.
I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250
Nirvana, for whatever reason, was my gateway to metal and heavy music in general. So this brings me full circle. The covers are really faithful but only as Thou can deliver it. rettisawesome
